On January 21, the inaugural meeting and first members’ meeting of the Taian High-tech Zone New Materials and Geotechnical Materials Industry Chain Chamber of Commerce (Association) were successfully held at Shandong Road New Materials Co., Ltd. The meeting was hosted by the Taian High-tech Zone New Energy and New Materials Industry Chain and organized by Shandong Road New Materials Co., Ltd.
Zhao Xingwei, a second-level staff member of the Taian High-tech Zone and leader of the New Energy and New Materials Industry Chain, and Ran Xiangdong, deputy leader of the same industry chain, attended the meeting. Representatives from 34 industry enterprises gathered to mark this important milestone and witness the grand occasion for the industry.
In strict accordance with the association’s charter, the meeting elected the first board of directors, board of supervisors, and executive leadership. Lu Shide, General Manager of Shandong Road New Materials Co., Ltd., was elected as the first President of the chamber of commerce (association).
At the meeting, Director Zhao Xingwei, on behalf of the High-tech Zone Management Committee and the Industry Chain Task Force, extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the chamber of commerce (association). He stated that the High-tech Zone Management Committee will provide comprehensive policy support and service guarantees, and expressed the hope that the chamber of commerce (association) will fully leverage its role as a bridge and link, unite industry forces, and promote the Tai’an High-tech Zone into a nationally influential new materials manufacturing base.
Looking ahead, the chamber of commerce (association) will adhere to the principles of “unity and cooperation, resource sharing, innovative development, and a win-win future,” focusing on five key areas: government–enterprise communication, resource integration, rights and interests protection, collaborative innovation, and brand development. It will establish effective mechanisms to address members’ concerns, build a strong “home for members,” and guide the industry from a domestic leader toward becoming a global benchmark.
Shandong Road New Materials Co., Ltd. will conscientiously fulfill its responsibilities as the chairing unit, proactively play a leading role, and work together with all member enterprises to expand markets, strengthen technological innovation, and continuously enhance the core competitiveness, industrial influence, and regional brand reputation of the geotechnical materials industry in Tai’an.
The establishment of the chamber of commerce (association) will effectively integrate industry resources, break the cycle of excessive internal competition, and help build a sound industrial development pattern characterized by government guidance, chamber leadership, enterprise-driven growth, and coordinated development. Representatives of participating enterprises unanimously expressed their commitment to actively engage in the chamber’s activities, pursue common development, and contribute to the high-quality growth of the regional new materials industry and the development of a nationally significant high-tech industrial base for geosynthetics.
